Game & Schedule Overview by Division

Our Programs

Playground:
The playground includes 9 weeks in the Fall typically from the last week in August through October, and eight weeks in the spring, typically from April through early June. Sessions run on Saturday mornings at 8AM or 9AM. See our Playground Division page for further program details.

5U:
The 5U division includes a 9 week program in the Fall, typically from the last week in August through October and an eight week program in Spring, typically from April through early June.  Sessions run on Saturday mornings, with Girls playing at 10:00AM and Boys playing at 11:00AM.   Depending on the number of players registered and trainers available, spring-only registrations may be assigned to a new 12:00 PM co-ed time slot..  See our 5U Division page for further program details.

6U - 12U:
The 6U (Kindergarten) to 12U (5th/6th Grade) divisions include 9 weeks of games in the Fall, typically from the last week in August through October and eight weeks of games in the spring, typically April through early June.  Games are played every week with the exception of Labor Day weekend,  Memorial Day weekend, bye weeks, and any weather-related cancellations.  Girls play on Saturdays and boys play on Sundays. A team's game time will vary throughout the season. Typical start times are 12:30, 2:00 and 3:15pm. See our 6U-12U Division page for further program details.

6U & 7U games are played at the Gallery Park fields

8U & 10U games are played at Flick Park

12U Home games are played at Attea Middle School, with possible inter-regional matches at various times and locations throughout the northern Chicago metropolitan area.


The 6U teams have a 30-minute practice immediately before their game, which is led by professional trainers. Teams in the 7U to 12U divisions have separate weekly practices led by their volunteer coaches. The day, time, and location are set by the coaches in coordination with their players. If you cannot attend your team’s set practice time, we can help you find a different team with which you can practice. We also have free weekly skills clinics at various days, times, and locations.  14U (Inter-Regional):
The 14U Division games begin after Labor Day. The regular season concludes in the Spring with a tournament beginning on the Memorial Day weekend and finishing on the following weekend in June.  Games are on Sundays, but times and locations vary.  Home games will be at Attea Middle School in Glenview.  Away games could be against any opponent within l in AYSO Area 6D or Area 6A.
The inter-regional game schedule is typically released .after our local U6-U12 schedule has been published. See our 14U Division page for further program details.
Weekly practices are held on Friday evenings at Attea Middle School, with professional trainer available to the volunteer coaches, if desired. Coaches may also schedule a second weekly practice for this age group.

EXTRA:
The AYSO Extra program games begin after Labor Day. The regular season concludes in the Spring with a tournament beginning on Memorial Day weekend and finishing on the following weekend in June.  Girls and Boys play their games on Sundays at 5:30PM, but play slightly earlier the late fall once daylight is reduced. The Area's Extra Game schedule typically releases it after our local U6-U12 schedule is published. See our EXTRA page for further program details.

A one-hour weekly practice session is held with professional trainers, typically back-to-back with a one-hour practice led by the volunteer coaches. Additional technical skills training sessions with the professional trainers are available to players on Fridays.
